Naked Notion Bags

We offer a selection of blank felt bags in our favorite shapes and sizes for embellishing. They can be painted, stitched, and needlefelted. Add our Wooly Bullys along with needlefelting needles—to make any bag into a kit.  Ideal for classes.

Notion Bag 4" x 6"
Our most popular size, is practical for many uses: notions bag, coin purse, camera case, cell-phone pouch, makeup bag, etc.

Medium Case Round 8" 
This shape opens wide to reveal its contents. Ideal for an assortment of needlework tools—especially circular needles. Add a strap and it can be carried as a small purse.

Medium Case Square  8" x 8" 
A favorite of many, this square bag has a wrist-strap. Sized to fit crochet hooks and double-pointed needles, this multi-purpose bag keeps it all safe.

Needlefelting on felt bags: Our felt bags can be customized by needlefelting. All you need is a felting needle and small amounts of wool. (See our “Gumball Pack”) If desired, a sponge can be put inside the bag while felting. Use a tabletop, or foam block or tray in your lap—and be careful, needles are sharp and the barbs hurt! If desired you can first draw your design on the bag with chalk. Use the felting needle to poke the wool fibers into the surface of the felt—try to avoid stabbing as deep as the lining. The barbs on the needle will grab the fibers and tangle them with the wool bag. Decorate as desired, working until all the fibers are securely felted.
