This version of Sari Ribbon is made from fine, lightweight silk fabrics. It knits up at a lighter gauge than its heavyweight counterpart, so for items that will get a good bit of wear (i.e. bags) we recommend a carry-along yarn such as nettle or nylon. Knitting it along with a strand of wool and felting creates a fabulous texture. (See our website for free patterns.) Use it for fringing, embellishing, surface design, quilting, scrap-booking, mixed media art, etc.
