The Red Queen’s Shawl

The Red Queen’s Shawl

knitting pattern, PDF

One may describe the Red Queen as contrary and paradoxical, but sometimes that’s a good thing, as in this tip-to-tip knit shawl with two distinct stitch patterns. Half in ribbing, and half in lace stitch, this shawl pairs no-nonsense straight lines with lovely, rippling waves. Bold yet feminine.

Finished Measurements: 72” wide and 42” deep, after blocking

Suggested needle size: US 1 1/2, 40” circular

Gauge: 32 sts and 40 rows = 4” in ribbing stitch, after blocking
