The knitting is simple and the yarn creates an interesting fabric with sections of color and pseudo striping. This pattern is perfect for any assigned/planned pooling projects too!

Wonderland Yarns “Mary Ann” fingering weight, 475 yds/4 oz skein,
OR Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter” sport weight, 344 yds/ 4 oz skein.
Needles & Notions:
with Mary Ann: US size 5/; 3.75mm, 16″ circular needle (or size required to get gauge), darning needle, 1 stitch marker
with Mad Hatter: US size 6/ 4mm, 16″circular needle (or size required to get gauge), darning needle, 1 stitch marker
Gauge:
with Mary Ann: 22 sts & 24 rounds = 4″/10 cm in pattern, without blocking
with Mad Hatter: 20 sts & 22 rows = 4”/10 cm in pattern, without blocking
Measurements:
with Mary Ann: 24 (28″) around, 16.5″-22.5″ tall (sample is 28” around, 16.5” tall and using more of the skein would create a cowl about 19.5” tall for this larger size)
with Mad Hatter: 26″ (30″) around, 14″-16.5″ tall
