Description

This simple and lovely 4-row Cockle Shell lace pattern can be worked into a single or double-wrap cowl. One skein of Wonderland Yarns Mad Hatter sport provides plenty of yardage for either size, and leeway in your gauge.

Yarn:

Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter” sport weight, 344 yards/4 oz skein; 1 skein.

Shown in “Pool of Tears” colorway, double-wrap version.

Needles & Notions:

US size 10 circular needles, 24” for single-wrap cowl, or ’32”-40” for double-wrap cowl; darning needle

Gauge:

14 sts = 4 inches, gauge isn’t terribly important, 1 skein has plenty of yardage to accommodate changes

Measurements:

Single wrap: 10” wide and 34” around, blocked; double wrap: 8” wide and 58” around, blocked.
