In this cowl celebrating the sky, textured stitch patterns represent clouds, rain, and migrating birds. Knit in the round, the patterns are simple and easily memorized, creating a lovely all-over texture.
Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Blossoms” fingering, 80% superwash merino/ 20% nylon: 412 yds/4 oz cake , shown in limited edition colorway “Chalkhill Butterfly”
Needles & Notions: US size 5/3.75 mm & US size 6/4mm needles 16" circular (or your favorite arrangement for knitting in the round) (or sizes required to get gauge), stitch marker, darning needle
Gauge: 20 sts & 32 rounds = 4"/10 cm in “Migrating Birds go East,” after blocking
Measurements: 29"/ 73.5 cm around, 14.5"/ 37 cm long
