Care Instructions

Most of our yarns are superwash wool, which means they’re designed for easier care — no felting surprises here!

Washing: Hand-wash gently in cool water. You can also use the delicate cycle in your machine if it’s truly gentle.
Soap: We recommend a small amount of mild shampoo or your favorite wool wash. A touch of hair conditioner works beautifully to keep fibers soft and silky.
Rinsing: Rinse in cool water, being careful not to agitate.
Drying: Press out excess water with a towel (no wringing or twisting). Lay flat to dry, reshaping your project as needed.

Tip: Treat your handmade pieces with the same care you’d give a favorite wool sweater or scarf — a little gentleness goes a long way!

Hand-dyed gradient self-striping "Line by Line Collection" is here! Each colorway is hand-dyed so the yarn magically stripes as you work — just cast on and watch the colors unfold.

Think mitts, socks, hats -- one cake covers most sizes! Use any of our Mary Ann patterns or your favorite fingering weight patterns.

Colorways are inspired by well-known lines in movies and songs -- do you know which ones? :)

Line by Line cakes are dyed with three or four color stripes.

For a typical sock pattern this will result in 1/4 - 3/8 inch stripes for cakes with three colors, and 1/4 inch stripes for cakes with four colors.
