The lace columns of this cowl are reminiscent of tall and elegant birch trees — the flaring eyelet edging representing roots. Knit-in-the-round from the bottom up, the pattern is easily memorized and rhythmic.
This pattern can be easily modified to be knit with one skein in our other yarn weights (Mary Ann, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Blossoms, and Alice). Notes on modifications for other yarn weights are listed in the pattern.
