Care Instructions

Most of our yarns are superwash wool, which means they’re designed for easier care — no felting surprises here!

  • Washing: Hand-wash gently in cool water. You can also use the delicate cycle in your machine if it’s truly gentle.
  • Soap: We recommend a small amount of mild shampoo or your favorite wool wash. A touch of hair conditioner works beautifully to keep fibers soft and silky.
  • Rinsing: Rinse in cool water, being careful not to agitate.
  • Drying: Press out excess water with a towel (no wringing or twisting). Lay flat to dry, reshaping your project as needed.
Tip: Treat your handmade pieces with the same care you’d give a favorite wool sweater or scarf — a little gentleness goes a long way!

Textiles have long been used to carry meaning — sometimes quietly, sometimes clearly.

This kit features the 'Showing Up Hat' — a classic beanie-style design with a set of simple colorwork charts that are the small, but visible way to show up.

Each kit includes one 4-oz skein plus one 1-oz mini skein of March Hare worsted knits up in a flash with the included pattern.
