Shimmery Chevron Wrap

In the Shimmery Chevron Wrap, a sparkling mohair and silk yarn dances with smooth merino yarn, highlighting the dramatic lines in this elegant piece.

When choosing yarn it’s important to note that this wrap can be knit with either one or two skeins of Mad Hatter sport weight yarn. A 62” version (measured point to point) without tassels can be knit with one skein of Mad Hatter. A more ample version (77”) with or without tassels requires 2 skeins of Mad Hatter. Both use 2 skeins of Unicorn. Whether you opt for the same or similar color in both types of yarn, or whether you chose contrasting colors will give you lots of options for customizing your wrap.

Yarns:

Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter”, 1 or 2 skeins, 4 oz/344 yards (MC)

AND Wonderland Yarns “Unicorn”, 2 skeins, 3.5 oz skein/310 yards (CC).

"June" is discontinued, but "Chasing Moonbeams" is a great substitute

Needles & Notions:

US size 7 needles, you may prefer size 24” circulars or larger to accommodate the stitches, or size required to get the proper gauge, darning needle

Gauge: 

(with Mad Hatter, in garter stitch) 17 sts & 40 rows = 4”

Measurements: 

approximately 62-77” from point to point & 16” wide after blocking.
