Care Instructions

Most of our yarns are superwash wool, which means they’re designed for easier care — no felting surprises here!

  • Washing: Hand-wash gently in cool water. You can also use the delicate cycle in your machine if it’s truly gentle.
  • Soap: We recommend a small amount of mild shampoo or your favorite wool wash. A touch of hair conditioner works beautifully to keep fibers soft and silky.
  • Rinsing: Rinse in cool water, being careful not to agitate.
  • Drying: Press out excess water with a towel (no wringing or twisting). Lay flat to dry, reshaping your project as needed.
Tip: Treat your handmade pieces with the same care you’d give a favorite wool sweater or scarf — a little gentleness goes a long way!

Description

This lofty DK is slightly thick and thin, wrapped with a strand of silk. The silky absorbs dye differently for a pretty highlight throughout.

Yarn weight: DK, 250 yards per 3.5 oz skein

Blend: 72% fine sw merino, 28% mulberry silk

Gauge: 20 -22 sts; Needles: US 5 - 6 recommended
