Description

Starting with a garter-tab cast-on, this shawlette is knit from the top down. Slipping stitches over stitches creates a ovely, simple, and rhythmic lace. The lightweight fingering yarn works up into a delicate, airy shawl that is suitable for all seasons.

Wonderland Yarns “Cheshire Cat” light fingering weight; 512 yards/4 oz skein: 1 skein

Shown in Limited Edition Colorway “Egypt”

Needles & Notions:

US size 6 /4 mm circular, (or size required to get gauge), 24”/61 cm (or size to accommodate stitches), US size 7/ 4.5 mm needle of any type for binding off, darning needle, 2 stitch markers

Gauge:

16 sts & 28 rows to 4”/ 10 cm in pattern stitch, blocked

Measurements:

56”/ 142 cm across top, 20”/ 50 cm from top to point, each bottom side measures 32.5” / 82.5 cm, blocked
