Living in Florida, I always enjoyed sitting by the seashore and watching the little shells ‘snuggle’ back into the sand following a wave. This triangle shawl is designed using repeating stitch sections that symbolize an underwater vista and create an elegant seaside shawl that is easy enough for a beginner crocheter to create.
Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Blossom" Mary Ann sock/fingering weight, 4 oz/ 475 yds, 85% superwash merino, 15% nylon: 1 gradient cake, shown on colorway ‘Aquilegia’
Needles & Notions: US G/4 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, blocking pins & mats
Gauge:3.5” at center height x 6.5” wide on longest edge = first 9 rows of Coquina Shell section (unblocked)
Measurements: 44” top edge, 29” side edge; 23” center to point (after blocking)
