The solid cuffs and ribbing are offset against the cabled design in gradient colors on the hand, resulting in a pair of mitts that no one can resist.
Bitty Blooms are pairs of color-shifting yarn cakes, in which each cake begins with one color and gradually shift to end with another color. The colors are in the inverse order in the second cake. Instructions are included to ensure the mitts are made to match.
Yarn: 2 cakes of Wonderland Yarns Bitty Blooms (80% superwash merino, 2 oz/ 212 yds); shown in color Delphinium.
Note: One coordinating set of 2 cakes of Bitty Blooms has sufficient yardage to knit two pairs of mitts.
Needles & Notions: US size 2 (2.75 mm) double-pointed needles (or preferred needle for small circumference in-the-round work) or size needed to get gauge, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 34 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette, blocked.
