Slinky sport merino and a shimmering silk/mohair blend are a match made in heaven for lovers of texture play. Dancing between the two in striping garter, with a sweet lace panel, you can dress this shawl up or down, go wild with contrast, or go tone-on-tone. You won’t be able to stop with just one!

Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter”; 1, 4 oz skein/344 yards
AND Wonderland Yarns “Unicorn”; 1, 3.5 oz skein/310 yards

Needles & Notions:
US size 7 circular needles, size 24” or 32”—or size required to get the proper gauge, darning needle
Gauge:
Mad Hatter in garter stitch, 17 sts & 40 rows = 4”
(exact gauge is not necessary, aim for a fabric you like—there is ample yarn in to the two skeins, so it’s unlikely you’d run out)
Measurements:
Approximately 74” across top edge and 15” at deepest point (before blocking)
