We love color pooling and assigned pooling patterns! It’s always fun to see what they can do in different stitches and shapes. And it’s not a party without a friend, so we’re featuring two designs — a new guest crochet design or a knit shawl pattern.

Pooling Party Shawl (knit pattern option)
Create a one-of-a-kind shawl where color and texture chase each other through every row, brought to life by the playful magic of assigned pooling. Choose between a rectangle or triangle shawl shape!

Stellifera Shawl (crochet pattern)
“Stellifera” is Latin for “star-bearing.” This shawl by guest designer Sarah Epplin uses the magic of color pooling and color blocking elements together with a star stitch to create a lovely boomerang-shape design.

Kits include: 2, 4 oz skeins of Cheshire Cat light fingering yarn weight (512 yds per skein; 100% superwash merino) and packaged in a crystal clear box with a pattern download code for your choice of knit or crochet pattern.
