Description

All of our Colorburst colorways are named after “unexpected, wonderful things.” The colorways are dyed with a splash of color in one section. This over-sized scarf has you creating purl bumps as you “bump” into the bursts. Hence, Bumping Along!

Yarn: 

Wonderland Yarns “Alice” DK weight, 242 yards/4 oz skein: 2 skeins

Shown in Limited Edition Colorway “Burst of Inspiration at your LYS”--any contrasting Colorburst is a good choice for this pattern.

Needles & Notions: 

US size 8/5 mm needles, or size required to get gauge, darning needle, carboard or similar— approximately 4”/10cm long for making pom-poms (if desired)

Gauge: 

14 sts & 24 Rs = 4″/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Measurements:

10.5”/26.5 cm wide, 96”/ 244 cm long from point to point when reserving yarn for pom-poms (note: the scarf is worked on the bias, so the overall width is different than the cast-on edge)
