Colorburst colorways are dyed with bold splashes of color against a main shade — like leaves scattered across a forest floor. Inspired by the magic of fall foliage, this big, squishy cowl turns each burst of color into a moment of surprise.
Choose your favorite from four stitch options to showcase the bursts — and watch autumn unfold, one section at a time.
Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Silk Twist” DK weight: 72% fine superwash merino, 28% mulberry silk; 250 yds/ 3.5 oz: 2 skeins, shown in “Wading in Early Morning Tidepools” Limited Edition colorway (“Small Victories on a Monday” is a good substitute!)
Needles & Notions:
US size 6/4mm 16"/40cm circular needle (or size needed to get the proper gauge), darning needle, stitch marker to indicate start of round

project but can effect the way the stitches look)

Techniques: working in the round, simple to complex stitches
