This shawl combines bright, contrastng colors and highly textured sttches to create an eye‐catching garment. Beginning with a slow increase, this creates a long tail on the shawl which can be knotted on one side, ted to the opposite end, or wrapped and tucked around the looped shawl to hold it in place.
Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter” sport weight, 100% superwash merino, 688 yards: 1, 4 oz skein (MC) & 4, 1 oz mini skeins (CC1-CC4). Shown in Chevron Stripes Kit #1. “Kerfuffle” (MC) & bright minis (CC1-CC4).

Needles & Notions: US size 7/4.5mm needles, long enough to accommodate stitches (or size required to get gauge), US size 9 needle for binding off (optional), darning needle
Gauge: 17 sts & 28 rows = 4"/10 cm stockinette, after steaming/blocking
Measurements: 90"/229cm wingspan, measured across top edge; 16.5"/42cm at deepest point
